IGBT Drive Board for IGBTs, MOSFETs and MCTs

PCTI’s OEM drive was designed to utilize the full capabilities of single and halfbridge IGBT, MOSFET and MCT technology. Our drive is the only fully-engineered, and completely cost effective solution which can address any commercially available rating of these devices on the market. Use the Medium Power IGBT Drive for devices up to 600A, 1700V or theHigh   Power Drive for devices up to 2400A, 2600V. PCTI’s family of IGBT driver boards will enable you to confidently implement and switch the latest switching devices to take advantage of higher performance parameters within your equipment. Medium Power Dual IGBT Driver Board with Opto Coupler (P/N: 60.050)

This driver provides an inexpensive solution for standard configurations where the IGBT modules are not in series or parallel. The recommended modules are those with maximum current of 400A and a maximum voltage of 1200V. Medium Power Dual IGBT Driver Board with Magnetic Coupler (P/N: 60.056)

This is a high performance drive capable of driving very high power modules (to 1000A/1700V). It has a higher common mode rejection ratio (min 75KV/µsec) than the opto driver (above). This driver also has a higher isolation voltage (up to 6KV) and can be configured in a variety of modes including single, dual independent, and dual with interlock. The driver provides multiple options in case of short-circuit detection making it ideal for complicated series/parallel configurations. Bias Power Supply

The Bias Power Supply provides a reliable source of low voltage for control and monitoring in support of its companion Firing Circuit and Regulator Boards.   This two-board assembly is sold encased in a modular enclosure that is dinrail mountable as shown on the previous page.  Choose from several voltage sources.

Specific Features
  • Power On Green LED. The LED will be illuminated any time power is applied to the equipment.
  • Low Voltage Indication Red LED. The LED will be illuminated any time a low voltage condition exists.
  • Power OK LED (Open Collector)
  • Fault Indication. This LED is activated in the event of a low voltage condition.
  • There are no adjustments on the bias supply.

Line Protection Module

The LPM monitors the input voltage and senses under and over voltage conditions. It   can be encased in a din rail mountable modular assembly as shown for the bias   power supply on the previous page.
