DSP Control Project Profiles
A
typical representation of some DSP controlled projects are shown below.
In
these examples, PCTI provided complete end-use equipment including DSP hardware, software and IGBT drive. These
projects were IGBT based, PWM high frequency using DSP control.

Motor
Drive, Variable Frequency to 200Hz for transportation application, 400VDC/230VAC,
three phase. The inverter is encased in a Nema 4 custom cast aluminum
enclosure with integral pin fin heatsink for cooling (not shown).

IGBT
Based Inverter with chopper, 700VDC/120VAC ,60Hz,
single phase. This transportation application powers standard
120V maintenance tools directly from 700VDC subway lines.

Frequency
Converter, 480VAC, 60Hz/480VAC, 400Hz, single phase.
Application: Removal of cable insulation for copper recovery.

Variable
Voltage Inverter, 0-480VAC, 60Hz, single phase, included on
the bottom rack along with two other power supplies used for circuit
breaker testing.

AC/DC Regulated Power Supply (inverter with
chopper) accepts
universal input from 187-532V, 3 Phase and provides 650VDC at 8A and is
controlled via RS232 interface. Application: Infrared Lamp.
